Innovation Initiative

Our local public schools decided to brand their effort to increase innovation in the district. Here are some of the logo options I came up with. They ended up choosing the middle one in the bottom row.

Solar Stages

Here are the options for the logo for Minnetonka Marching Band’s 2011 field show. The one on the right was chosen.

 

Ambassadors

Totino-Grace High School enlisted me once more for the task of branding the theme for the coming year. The top one – which was a response to their suggestion to make something resembling a bridge – was their favorite.

Christmas Kings

This one turned out to be sort of a misfire. It’s for a band that specializes in holiday music. The subject matter was right but the style wasn’t quite what they had in mind.

Ambigram

This is my attempt at creating a wordmark for my niece, whose name is a suitable candidate for an ambigram, which is always a fun and interesting challenge.

Pointy Things

These variations on points were commissioned by Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization, for a campaign endeavoring to put forth the notion that they’re a place where multiple ideas are focused.

NHL Concept

Another contest entry. The challenge was to imagine what the Atlanta Thrashers might look like after they move to Winnipeg. I thought they should remain the Jets, but update the look a bit. Here’s what I came up with.
